Autumn Leaves

We don't have any at out house but they are well worth going out of our way to find.
Crunching underfoot. How lovely and sensory they are! We had a fabulous time a Grandma's raking the leaves and squashing them into the bin!

It is always worth thing about what your goals for the activity are. I felt for this it was to help Grandma and Grandad by tidying the garden and therefore we had to stay on task (not an easy job) and not make more mess (also not an easy job)

My goal at Cameron Park (Turramurra) was just to have a good time so we played this over and over! This is one of my favourite parks for so may reasons so you'll hear more about it in future.

The Idea

When I found myself racing after my two year old on the beautiful paths in the wildflower garden near us. I though I should start writing about all the fun I have with my boys (even if our world has a level of intensity that isn't experience by everyone.)

I have two beautiful boys both on the autism spectrum. Each one has unique ways of seeing and experiencing the world. Thomas is 5 and Cameron is nearly 3. Life with them is very challenging but also very rewarding. I am always on the lookout for new experiences for them, places to go and just opportunities to connect with them. At the same time going anywhere new with them scares me as I don't know how safe they will be (or if I can keep both of them in sight or out of trouble). I'm planning to post all the wonderful places I have found and the great thing we do together.
